Obama’s Odd Response to Fort Hood Shooting

Obama stated my immediate thoughts and prayers were to the wounded and fallen soldiers. Yet he was clowning around and giving shout outs prior to mentioning the shooting. He said it's tough enough when soldiers are killed overseas, but horrifying to be killed on American soil. He's concerned about the soldiers’ safety at home. I'm concerned about their safety wherever they are. They are on our team. Our soldiers are DYING in Afghanistan; the General said he needs more troops for their safety. Yet, Obama is dithering on sending more troops. The shooter was a Muslim, had anti-American sentiments and did not want to go to Afghanistan.

Some say Obama has no empathy. Obama does have empathy. He said so. He also said we, the American citizens should have empathy. The only thing is he was talking about having empathy for the terrorists of 9/11 that crashed the planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania killing thousands of American citizens. Now he says not to jump to conclusions about the Muslim terrorist at Fort Hood. 2012 can't get here soon enough!
