On November 12, 2009 at the Elmendorf Air Force Base Elmendorf, Alaska, President Barack Hussein Obama, the Community Organizer in Chief said in a statement to the troops regarding Afghanistan the following: As Commander in Chief, I will never hesitate to use force to protect the American people and their vital interests. We will use the right force structure and spend defense money wisely. I will not risk your lives unless it is necessary to America's vital interests. And if it is necessary, the United States of America will have your back. We'll give you the strategy and the clear mission you deserve, we'll give you the equipment and the support that you need to get the job done, and that includes public support back home. That is a promise that I make to you.
Mr. President, Do you realize there are American troops in Afghanistan and they are in harms way and they are dying! What about them? General Stan McChrystal, whom you put in charge, has requested additional troops to support and defend the soldiers that are there. Do you think the men of the Alamo would have liked to have reinforcements?
